Amy Winehouse

How cool is this!?  Amy Winehouse is going to be writing the theme song to the latest James Bond film, A QUANTUM OF SOLACE.  She will follow in the very iconic footsteps of Shirley Bassey, Madonna, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney, and Louis Armstrong.  And NOT such iconic footsteps of Sheena Easton (For Your eyes Only), Rita Coolidge (All Time High), and a-ha (The Living Daylights).

Amy says she wants hers to be in the vein of mega diva Bassey’s “Goldfinger” and “Diamonds Are Forever”.  Sounds good to me.  Go Amy!
