About Briton
Born in the UK to a British father and an American mother, twenty-six year old, Briton Spears now calls both London and LA home. A journalism major at Oxford University, Briton’s first job was with the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). He then moved to New York where he worked for a major publishing house. An avid traveler and a huge cinephile, BRITON has recently relocated to Los Angeles, with his Cocker Spaniel, EDIE. His favorite color is blue, and he likes to play the piano and is learning to surf.
He likes to be naked as often as possible. Drink Seagrams and Ginger ale. And play Running Charades with friends. But everything isn’t always rainbows and butterflies… he’s crazy. But in a fun way.
For the past year he’s developed a severe dislike of Perez “The Queen of all Media” Hilton. Why? For many reasons. The top three are… 1. He’s a douche. Plain and simple. 2. His spelling and grammar are atrocious. 3. He’s mean. Hell, I love being irreverent, but he’s just mean. A total tool.
So while checking out his site I realized that about 50% of the people leaving him comments literally HATE him. They like gossip and entertainment updates, but really, really hate HIM. This is where I come in. I wanted to give people a choice as to where you can get your gossip fix.
I will be posting some exclusive interviews in the coming weeks with some of the biggest and funnest celebs in the business today. So keep checking back, and please tell all your friends about the new “King of all Media”, Briton Spears!!!!

I don’t get it. You style your career to be identical to Perez Hilton’s yet you can’t help but rant about how much of a tool he is? You’re trying to break into a business but instead of coming up with something amazing and unique and fresh you make a lame copy of someone you hate? When has this ever worked in the business world?
Look at your top three reasons for hating Perez. They’re completely contradictory! It’s sad because you’re on to something. Instead of making a lame attempt at parody, why don’t you do your own thing to lure in those readers who hate Perez? Come on…be serious!

Thanks, Jamie Leigh. I really appreciate you taking the time to write. It gives me something to think about. I’ll work on it. When you’re starting something like this, it’s important to draw in your audience. We obviously will have some growing pains, and are working very hard to make the best site possible. Cheers! Briton
